Shear connectors, sometimes known generically as Concrete Anchors or Shear Studs, are used in Steel-Concrete composite structures. They act as reinforcing members, locking the supporting structure to the concrete floor. Structures including Rail and Pedestrian Bridges, Multi-Storey Car Parks and Offices,Mezzanine Offices, Commercial and Industrial Buildings. They are also widely used in anchoring peripheral items such items as Post Sockets, Embedment Plates, Train Rails, Wear Plates etc. to concrete aprons and the like.Available in size range from 13mm to 25mm.
